Outdoor retail giant Home Depot is planning to open its first store in Los Angeles with the help of a nonprofit organization that helps to grow green space in cities around the country.
The Los Angeles Times reported that the company plans to open a store in the Hollywood Hills and Pasadena neighborhoods, with a future goal of opening a second store in a city with more than 1 million people.
The company is currently expanding its outdoor footprint to other parts of Los Angeles, such as Pasadena and Hollywood.
The company will build a 50,000 square-foot store in Hollywood and a 20,000-square-foot one in L.A. The stores will offer outdoor shopping and activities, including indoor rapping, as well as a kids’ outdoor area.
The stores will have an array of different products, including clothing, furniture, household goods, and home decor.
Home Depot announced the expansion of its indoor retail network in 2017, with an addition of stores in Chicago, Atlanta, and New York.
HomeDepot is one of the largest home improvement retailers in the world, and the company says it’s built more than 100,000 stores across the country, including stores in New York, Los Angeles and Houston.
The retailer has also invested in more than 30 community gardens in its retail footprint, including a new one in the L.L.A.-area.
